The student volunteers of The Arundhati Foundation , organized a drawing competition for classes 6th to 10th of St Meera’s School. Cambridge Road on the 20th October 2016. The theme was Safer Roads , Safer India.
Over 150 students eagerly participated in the event. The skills and concepts of the winners took my breath away! It was really heartening to see that almost all of them knew the concepts of Road Safety and even reassuring that these young citizens had done ‘research’ on certain topics like RoadRage.
The winners list is ready and will be announced this weekend.
The volunteers headed by Mr Tamil Selvan, 1st Year Pre University Commerce student of St Meera’s PU college , did a fantastic job of organizing and conducting the competition.
The foundation thanks the Principal Ms Selva Kumari, co ordinator Ms Sabiya Begum, teachers and the volunteers of St Meera’s school and PU college.
Sharing the photos of the events with a few paintings done by the students.
